such a big boy doing projects...

jack always tries to steal my pen when i'm writing something so i set him up with some crayons while i was writing in his baby book. he enjoyed himself thoroughly and was concentrating very hard on his project!

latest and greatest

don't you love it how it's always your latest thing (creation, photograph, dinner, pair of shoes, whatever) that's your favorite? i guess that's how it should be because it shows that you're growing. anyway, this is my latest birth announcement, and of course my favorite (for the moment). : )

Groovy new product...

i've added mailing labels to the BJO catalog... very groovy indeed. i hate addressing envelopes, so maybe other people do too and would appreciate labels?? only time will tell...

Best Pals

Jack just loves his doggies, especially Lou. She lets him get away with a lot more than Cordie... like standing on her, hugging her a little too tight, pulling on her jowls... she's awfully forgiving. Here's some pics of the best pals just hangin out.

SNOW!

We finally had some snow here. Not much, but enough to put on Jack's winter gear and take him outside to explore for a bit. He wasn't very impressed and wanted to hold my hand while he was walking in it (which I just LOVE!) . The last time he was in the snow was March '06 when he was a much tinier guy.

Breaking Ground!!

we officially broke ground on our home addition today. for those who don't know, we are adding 2 rooms and a garage onto our house. hopefully everything goes smoothly and gets done fast!

SB&J... we've come a long way!

my brother is allergic to peanut butter so my mom always had a hard time figuring out lunches for him... with your first kid you kind of count on the old PB&J. i've been cautious about giving jack peanut butter, i think i'm going to wait until he's two- per the new recommendation (i know, they always change what is the right way to do things so you just have to do what YOU think is right at the time...). i found a great substitute- soy butter- so jack's been having SB&J's for lunch.. i highly doubt they had this in 1978.
