Minocqua trip

We went up to Minocqua, WI for a couple of days where Scott's grandpa has a house. The car ride was surprisingly NOT horrific- a little yelling but nothing we couldn't handle. We even bribed him with an icecream cone at one point, giving us about 10 minutes of peace. Jack and I were both sick (as you can tell by the snot in some of Jack's pics) but it didn't stand in the way of our fun too much. We went to Peck's- a "wildlife" park- kind of a zoo with a big petting zoo portion and went to the beach a couple times. All in all, lots of fun.

i went to santa fe last weekend to visit dave. it was a very nice, relaxing visit and a much needed escape from the daily grind of having a toddler. dave is an amazing host; his mother would be very proud. i forced myself to get up early and go monday morning because if i put it off any longer he would have had a hard time getting rid of me!
