jack had the best day ever in his whole life today at the park. the sprinklers must have been set wrong (or somebody is an idiot) and they came on and blasted the grass for a good 15 minutes. the grassy area quickly became a mud pit. jack had the time of his life, running, splashing, and laughing his head off all the while.
i have a friend, laura, who has never met jack because either he is sick or one of her kids is sick.... or we are doing a child-less activity. it has been our ongoing joke that i don't really have a son and made him up in order to make friends with other moms. well, today the stars finally aligned for a meeting and we were able to get our kids together to play. here are some photos of jack and laura's daughter, aspen. she's turning one this month but outweighs jack by 5 pounds!! she is adorable and very cuddly. laura's son, river, and a little girl that she babysits were also there but were to busy playing when i took these photos.
